It’s the people who make Agency Revolution what it is.
Every year, the Agency Revolution team gets together to have a bit of fun team bonding, along with strategizing and building excitement around what the future has to hold for our clients.
Our team is 100% remote, and we had people travel from across the US to meet up in the Camelback Mountain in the Poconos for a day of fun activities, followed by a day of insightful presentations from the leadership team.
Revving it up on the UTV trail.
Our first activity involved a scenic trail ride in UTVs. While the trails weren’t muddy, there were some steep inclines and amazing views as we got to the top of the mountain. The best part was that our team actually got behind the wheel, and we had a tour guide take us up the different trails and set aside some time for a photo shoot.
Speeding downhill in mountain coasters.
Next, our team (well, most of us) went full speed on a mountain coaster. Others, who I will not name, may or may not have put on the brakes more than a few times! And, we even got great photos of the team as they flew by!
Going down the longest zip-line in Pennsylvania.
Just so you know, heights are not exactly my strong suit. So when our bus driver casually mentioned—while driving us up to the very top of the mountain—that we were about to take on the longest zip-line in the entire state of Pennsylvania, let’s just say my confidence took a brief hit.
By the time I realized what I had signed up for, I was already at the top with nowhere to go but down. Our team suited up in gear and helmets, which led to plenty of jokes and laughs before anyone had even stepped off the platform. I will say the team looked significantly more at ease than I felt. But I made it, and I will count that as a win!
Taking on the ultimate treetop course.
The last challenge of the day was tackling the treetop course, where there were 4 total courses that ramped up in difficulty as you went. I am proud to say that our team who participated did way better than me, some of them actually broke the course records for how quickly they got through it! I, however, am not afraid to say that I did have to call it quits after the first course!
Meeting to look forward to an exciting year ahead.
After having some fun, it was time to hold the main event and why we got the entire team together—the AR Summer Summit. What followed was one of the most energizing and aligned gatherings we have had as a team.
Mark Casady, Executive Chairman of FMG Suite, our parent company, set the tone by emphasizing the incredible opportunity in front of us as AI continues to reshape the insurance industry. It was a powerful reminder of the bigger picture and the role our team plays in it.
Dave Christensen, Chief Executive Officer, followed with one of my favorite moments of the day. He introduced the triangle concept, the idea that at any given time, three things must be true: the team needs to care about the company, the people they work with, and the clients they serve. It was a simple but powerful framework that I think resonated with everyone in the room, and something that everyone is committed to.
Lucas Jans, VP of Product, then took the stage with some exciting news about what is coming for our clients, and while I cannot share the details just yet, let’s just say there is a lot to look forward to in the months ahead. Stay tuned. And Monika Baraket, Chief Delivery Officer, gave some amazing updates to her team and changes they are making to continue building a successful client experience for every business we work with.
We also held breakout sessions with our Operations and Sales teams to collaborate on ideas and strategies that will help us continue to improve and better serve the agencies we work with. Some of the best ideas come from the people doing the work every day, and it was great to create space for those conversations.
To wrap things up, Matt Newman, Chief Revenue Officer, and I shared some thoughts on the road ahead, including some internal changes that will position our team to show up even stronger for our clients. I walked away from that room feeling genuinely proud of the people sitting in it.
Enjoying edamame and hibachi at Komé Restaurant.
After a full day of energizing conversations and presentations, there was only one way to end it right.
As is tradition now, we ended the summit with a hibachi dinner, and this year was no different.
We filled the restaurant with our team, the flames were flying, and the chefs wasted no time issuing the challenge: catch the food in your mouth. I will leave the success rates up to your imagination, but I will say the team’s competitive spirit was fully on display.
There were also more desserts ordered than I care to admit, which felt like the right way to end the day. And yes, if you were wondering, I did order the edamame.
Reflections after the Summer Summit.
Looking back on this year’s summit, the thing that stays with me most is not the zip-line or the treetop course, though both will be hard to forget. It is the conversations. The ones on the bus, at the top of the mountain, around the hibachi table, and in the breakout rooms. The ones that remind you why the work matters and who you are doing it with.
Dave’s triangle concept stuck with me. The idea that caring about what your company stands for, your people, and your clients all at once is not just a nice-to-have, it is the foundation everything else is built on. And I think that applies just as much to your business as much as it does to us.
We are living through a moment of rapid change. AI is reshaping how agencies find clients, serve them, and stay connected. But the one thing that does not change, and cannot be taken away, is the human element. The agent who remembers a client’s name. The team member who picks up the phone when it matters. The culture that makes people want to show up every day.
That is what we are building at Agency Revolution. And it is what I hope you are building at your agency too.
So as you head into the rest of 2026, I would encourage you to think about your own triangle.
Are you taking care of your team, your clients, and the business you have built? Are you telling the stories that show the human side of what you do? Because in an industry that is changing fast, the agencies that win are not always the ones with the best technology. They are the ones that never lose sight of the people behind it.
