How to Create & Send Postcards

📬 Understand when postcards make sense: Postcards are a great complement to your email strategy for clients without email addresses on file, timely reminders like coverage updates or open enrollment, and relationship-building touch points like holiday cards that put your agency’s friendly face directly in someone’s hands.

🗂️ Choose your send method: You can add a postcard step inside any custom campaign sequence to automate delivery alongside your emails and texts. For a one-time send, head to Marketing > Broadcast, or start from the Accounts section to select a specific segment before building your postcard.

🎨 Build your postcard front and back: Use the editor’s three tools (image, text, and overlay) to design both sides of your standard 4×6 postcard. The front is your eye-catching visual, and the back holds your message. Add multiple text boxes so you can move each piece independently, use an overlay to keep backgrounds from overpowering your text, and stay inside the dotted lines to keep content in the safe zone.

📲 Add a QR code for instant action: Including a QR code on the back is a great way to invite clients to schedule a call, visit your Hello Producer page, or land anywhere you’d like without having to type a URL. It turns a physical piece of mail into an interactive touchpoint.

💳 Set up billing and track delivery: Postcards cost 75 cents each, which covers postage (design is included in your Fuse subscription). Add a payment method under the gear icon > All Settings > Postcard Billing, and the system will alert you when credits run low. Postcards take about a week to arrive, and you can track progress through delivery status updates like in transit and in local area.
